| Area 001 is based in the Star Trek Universe. It is an original concept involving advanced starships, stories, and technology. Threats from the Borg, Dominion, Romulans, Cardassians, and others have created a threat, which could cause the destruction of the Federation and of Star Fleet. Created at the very birth of the Federation, Area 001 is a secret organization within Star Fleet, that seeks to be it's last line of defense, should something happen that very nearly causes the destruction of the Federation. Acting in secrecy, very advanced Star Ships have been built, and incredible new technology has been developed. Special Star Fleet Marines are stationed at Area 001, and an entire paramility has been developed, to eventually fight along side the regular military. A few more than interesting stories, ships, experiments gone wrong, strange threats, accidents, and many other things have come from this great adventure. This is where these things are to be found. |
